Default Hydraulic Clutch Problems 99 2.3l

I just put in a stage 2 clutch on my 2.3l. It ran well for 1000 miles, then started to shift very hard. Now it won't shift at all when the motor is running. we replaced the master and slave cylinder, put the clutch pedal in every possible position, and even got a fitting made up to bypass the damper. The Manual says the pedal should be 7 1/4" of the floor but at maximum extension, i can only get it about 6 3/4". it has been bled about 10 times but the pedal still gives way a little bit when we have a C-Clamp on the slave. this was a degenerative issue, happened over 150 miles or so, and we did get the car to shift and move, albeit with a little more effort than normal, after replacing the slave and master and bleeding it well. Any other possible issue I could have overlooked? could it be something on the clutch that failed? We even have the Acura Tech department here stumped so this is my last chance before I have to part it out.
