Default TLX Throttle response

Purchased a 2015 TLX V6 a couple months ago and have had numerous problems with throttle response. First noticed the problem a couple of days after purchase when trying to accelerate from 60mph to 75mph; increased throttle position and got nothing, no rpm increase not downshift nothing? Finally had to stomp it to the floor and drink a cup of coffee while it decided weather to shift into passing gear or not. At slower speed I have entered a intersection and turned left or right (direction doesn't seem to matter) while turning tried to accelerate and nothing, like the car was coasting. Have taken it to dealer 4 times now and can never get it to do the same thing? Have contacted Acura Client relations and opened a case with them.

As a side not the service rep told me that this was not the only complaint they have had and that Acura is aware of it but has issued no service bulletins and won't acknowledge a problem.

Latest loaner car was a 2015 TLX with the 4 cyl, the throttle response was terrible. At times the car would increase rpm to 3-4000 rpm then the down shift.

This problem is a SAFETY HAZARD!!!! Being in the middle of an intersection and the not responding or having to stomp it to the floor and wait for passing gear to kick in while making a turn.

Any body having the same problem, if so has it been it repaired and what repair was that (Software, mechanical,)???

such problems actually appear in compact cars. If it's not any faulty equipment or anything it's probably the way cars ECU is set. There is a thing called throttle controller that is used to reprogram this function. It's widely used on sport cars, but if the stock throttle response is really bothering you, you can take a look at it in this tech article Why Should I Add a Throttle Controller?
