...affect on my insurance rate? entire navigation system from my car(2005 Acura TSX) has been stolen and it's cost will be around $10,000. I reported it to Insurance and it will be covered. But I'm worried that it might make my insrance rate go up ( my insurance rate has gone up a little bit,recently) a lot. If out there is anybody working for the insurance company or has knowledge about insurance, please give me a advice.!!! Thank you for your help.

So what if they do raise your rates? I would rather have them pay a $10,000. claim and have my rates go up than to keep my rates low and pay the $10,000. out of my own pocket. Seems to me you have only one sensible thing to do.
