I am trying to find a good quality sub but not trying to spend a whole lot of money.

try the alpine type R's 12" those r some mad good subs. or get the JL audio w3's great subs for a small car liek that.

go to sonicelectronix.com and check out what they have. look at brands like kenwood, elcipse, sony, alpine

The BEST subwoofer for the CHEAPEST price would be, yes the Alpine Type-R which comes in 10", 12" or 15".

Whatever sub or SUBS you like will be the best. You may buy one, but I recommend two if you have some extra cash.

One 12" Type-R getting a full 500RMS will sound great alone and give LOTS of bass. You may only need one and it will save you some money.


Also, having only one of these subs, your only pushing 500RMS so no electrical upgrades are need(alternator and such). You should look into it more and check out some amps.
