or a 02 Acura RSX!!! HELP! So basically,

Honda Civic Ex - $5,999
-stick shift (dunno how to drive)
-decent looking i guess
-cheaper
-115K miles

Acura RSX - $9,900
-looks a lot better
-automatic (easier)
-90K miles

but if i get the RSX, it would mean that I'd be paying around 150 dollars a month for 4 years. If i get the Civic, I could get it paid off for about 180 dollars a month for just a year. Also, I'm currently a junior in High School so it'd be nice to have it paid off before college, also, I want it to last until I get out of college (around 8 years). So what do you guys think I should do? Go with the rsx or the civic? I reallyyyy like the rsx but financially, the civic seems to be the smarter choice, but would it last me 8 years? Opinions please. =]
well as for the stick shift, my dad says he'll teach me so i guess the stick vs auto thing really is just about convenience

Look on consumer best buy, see which car will last you the longest. It also tells you about any known problems for the vehicle. I will not buy any thing until i check to see how it rated. Stick shifts are easy to learn .

How can you possibly say "I'm getting as new car tomorrow" when you haven't even found a car you like yet.

Take your time and figure out the best car at the best price and then buy. Don't go out with the attitude that I have to get a car today. You'll make a bad decision every time if you use that approach.

J MONEY!

the RSX for sure! its real nice and i mean the girlies love it. so do it! everyone has a civic, dont them junk scrap metal peices. forget paying it off before college, its waaaay nicer than a civic. but...... standard is fun!

In the case of it being a Stick vs the RSX being auto says enough for me to say since you cant do the stick, go for the RSX.

Oh how I would have loved to have one of those in High School....LOL

Good thing about it is either way you go, its a Honda Product and I must say I am deffinately biased towards them.

And on the RSX lasting the time, it deffinately will as long as you maintain it responsibly.

Good luck!
