The oxygen sensor in my 98 Acura RL is broken... and the dealership wants me to pay $460 to have it replaced. I believe it is for the exhaust system. Here are a few questions:
1) Is this a reasonable price to repair this (parts and labor)?
2) Is this part necessary for my car to function? Do I need it to pass a smog test (in CA)?
3) Can you install a used oxygen sensor, or is this part usually put in new?
