ok, i want to know how i would go about hooking up a system to my stock radio thing or wahtever? i have an amp and wires.

You will need an LOC line out converter, can be obtained at walmart. This will allow you to hook up your rca's as there are no pre outs for your rca's on a stock headunit. A.K.A. "Radio thingy" You will need a positive cable from the battery with a fuse with in 1 foot of the battery, i suggest atlest 6 gauge wire. you will need a negative cable same gauge, bolt it to a piece of metal in your vehicle, close to amp the better. You will also need a remote turn on wire. Since you dont have a remote turn on with the stock head unit, tap into the fuse block, to a fuse that is on only when the ignition is on. Then run that wire to the remote slot on the amp. This allows the amp to turn on, but only when the key is in the igniton with the ignition on the acc or run selector. Run the rca's from the loc as explained above and wire your subs to your amp and you should be good to go. Make sure you wire your subs up with the proper connections.
