I've also read the owner's manual and there is no solution there.
My mother's 2005 Acura RL notified her with a warning to change the battery in the remote control.
So, she replaced the batteries.
Well, now the remote will unlock the doors, but the ignition will not turn.
I have pulled of the ignition cover and tried to use the key that's hidden in the remote, but that doesn't work either.
Also, the back-up remote doesn't work now either.

I called Acura Luxury Care, but their only remedy would be to tow the car to the dealer.
I declined.

Anyone experience this or have any ideas.
