Please don't tell me to buckle up. I wear my seatbelt all the time, I just don't like to get harassed by a machine that I purchased. I'm the human here. Please don't respond with platitudes, I just want an answer to my question.

I'm with you, I will buckle if I drive more than a mile.

The older models just required a crossover or sometimes a diode of some kind where the button is located, but i don't know if the newer models might be smarter than that.

Well it is the law to buckle up. Plain and simple. Guarantee the alarm will stop. Any tampering to the alarm will void the lifetime seatbelt warantee.

Ask the dealer to do it next time you get an oil change. They should do it for nothing.
