I have a 92' Legend that tends to over heat in the summer months when the humidity kicks in. I have heard and read that this is a common problem with this model over 120,000 miles.
So far we have replaced:
radiator, thermostat
water pump
valves and gaskets (this was no small feat)
Anyone out there with this same problem and how did you fix it? The mechanics around here are stuped.
Its not leaking anything. Like I said the radiator brand new and coolant is full. I should add that I did read on a blog about the way the coolant moves throught the radiator in that the thermostat is off to a side and that basically the other side heats up and the stat doesn't reigister the temp until the heat permeates from one side to the other via the pass through inside the radiator. Sound like anything familiar????
