When I look up the temp on the Dash, it seems to be very wrong and swing to different extremes, saying 68 when its 98 etc.

I want to ensure that it is not broken, where can i take a look to make sure it isn't broken or slightly detached?

could cleaning it work?

if you can acces the computer look at the wires. those are sensor wires. follow the wires and see which sensor is the temperature one

Hey Chris I just had the same problem my temp was reading 67 and not changing when it was 97 outside . So I called the dealer to schedule an APPT for tomorrow and I decided to try something else before taking it in so I reset the ECU for 15 min by disconnecting the battery cables and it work now the temp is reading right . Give it a try let me know if it works .

I think you have a problem with it. Go to the shop and get it repaired.'
