I am considering buying a 99 Acura Integra. Low 72k mileage and extremelt clean. One item sticks out in that it has an apparent oil leak, but it is in a very odd place - under the radiator. The fluid is clearly oil and not radiator coolant or transmission fluid. The oil is on the bottom of the radiator on the middle to right passenger side of the car. There are two hoses running from the radiator to the block (as well as other larger hoses), and the bottom portion of the hoses have oil on them. The round plastic cowling has oil on it under the hoses. The block (which is about 8" away from the radiator) does not appear to have any oil on it. Whre could this oil be coming from. In 30 min there was some on the ground under this area of the car. ??? Thanks

Some transmissions now days do use oil as a coolant. You should make sure that yours doesn't. There's no place else it can be coming from. Try wiping all traces of oil with a clean cloth. then follow the trail to the source.

Good Luck
