I have had to use my Acura Care warranty twice and twice my request have been rejected as parts not covered. My first encounter was with a Broken Cigarette lighter for 2005 Acura RL; I had to fight it over with the dealership and Acura Care customer service Supervisor who finally approved a partial refund.
Yesterday I had my worst encounter yet; I have a Bumper to Bumper extended Warranty through Acura Care; Policy #v003187310, my passenger seat backrest would not go up and they had to replace part #81126sjaa02 (seat frame). The dealership said the part was covered until I received a call after the work was done with a bill of almost $1000. Apparently the part was not covered but they had already completed the repairs. This time around, I'll go to the president of Acura and California attorney General's office for investigation on Acura Care warranty crap. They only pay the cheaper work/parts but the parts will not be covered if expensive.
