View Full Version : can a frame be replaced on a 1995 acura integra? kris 11-29-2007, 06:38 PM i was told tht i have a bent frame on my car and ive heard its not that safe to have it realigned Cleopatra 11-29-2007, 06:39 PM Can't be done because your car has a unit body where the body and frame are one unit. Chris H 11-29-2007, 06:40 PM ya it is easy u need the manul Firebird 11-29-2007, 06:40 PM You can, but the car's worthless. It's not something you'd do. You'd just buy the car with the good frame and drive that. It might make reasonably good sense if we're talking about a piece of the car that's removable. I get the feeling you don't really know what's bent. "/ J()€ 11-29-2007, 06:41 PM Frame work on auto's can be done if it's not too bad, most repair shops tell you if it can be done... when they recommend not to realign, I'd stay with that. sorry to hear. hondab16tuner 11-29-2007, 06:41 PM Your car doesn't actually have a frame, it's a unibody construction. If your insurance company finds out about it they will 9 times out of 10 junk the car. |
