I have an 07 Acura RDX which states using a minimum of 91 octane, is there a maximum?

The best octane is octane 93,please if u want use octane 93 please be care full to use only one litre if there is no gas for your safety use only one or two litres because more than two litres it gonna explose your engine. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is safe but if there is a cheaper alternative use that, there is no advantage to using higher octanes.

Anything over 91 is of no use to you, you wouldn't gain almost any of the benefits, except maybe slightly better gas mileage.

I would imagine that there is a limit that your motor could use.

There is no way in hell you are going to blow up the engine because of higher octane . But there is also no need to use higher than 93 octane on a stock RDX you wont burn the gas right you only use it if you were running some mods or boosting higher so your car AFR is not running to lean depending also on what mods .

Why to go for 100 octane. Best will be 93.If you can go for it.
