I Have a 97 Acura integra. My check engine light is on, and when im stoped for like 1 min the check engine light starts to blink. i had put stuff into it to try to fix it but it seems like nothing is working. when im sitting at a red light my car starts to shake a little not real bad, when i try to start my car it wont start right a way it takes a little bit and it sounds like my car will give out on me when i try to start it. Now it has overheated before but we did fix that. How can i fix my Car?

How many miles are on it? Timing belts are very important on those, but I don't think it could have stretched enough to cause that problem though. Couldn't be motor mounts cause that has nothing to do with it being hard starting.... could be spark plugs, could be valve shim, could be lack of compression, could be lots of things. By putting stuff in it I'm guessing you put something in it to try and clean out the injectors?

I would find someone with a compression gauge and check the compression on all cylinders first thing. If you find a bad cylinder, put a teaspoon of oil in it and if compression improves, it's bad rings. If it stays the same, it's bad valve seats or timing. If compression is good, it's gotta be spark(plugs, coils) or fuel (injectors, filter) spark wouldn't cause it to overheat, but lean fuel condition could.
