right after he bought it, the window seals started leting in air, making an annoying sound, then the console between the front seats came unbolted so you can pick it up, and the coin tray broke. also, the check engine light is always on due to an oxygen sensor, and the sunroof stopped opening fully! why is it acting like such an old ford or chevy?!
actually BTW the switch is not faulty on the sunroof, it opens halfway and then gets stuck, i think it's debris in the track actually, and the car is not neglected, the window seals on my two 1991 cars are fine, so i think that a 1996 "luxury" car should be as well. also i thought oxygen sensors were not supposed to wear out really, i have only seen fords have that problem.
oh, and the windows roll up slower and the motors are noisier than most cars i have seen, and they jiggle as they roll up.

Dud you are an ignorant, cars are cars. Quality is the same for all makes is what costs more to make that people get bitter about because they can't afford it, and in turn talk bad about. Tell me what 96 Ford would you compare to a 96 2.5tl, I would compare the Taurus and is one of the most reliable vehicles still on the road today, it also cost about 2,000 grand more just because it cost more to make, and not everyone could buy one. so there enjoy your ignorance..................

it is 11 yrs old a neglected rolls royce of 11 years will have problems i suggest u buy a new car but be prepared for dissapointment iff u expect nothing to be wrong with it in 11years o2 sensors are cheap and put a self tapper in centre console the switch is faulty on sun roof cheap to replace. dont complain when the brakes wear out
