View Full Version : 2008 Lexus IS350 AWD or 2008 Acura TL Type "S" 6 Speed Manual? Not of This World Returns 11-07-2007, 10:22 PM I'm looking at this two cars now, which one would be the best to buy. I love them both, unfortunately I can't buy both! Special Sushi 11-07-2007, 10:23 PM actaully to the pperson above me Acura is Honda with steriods. Al Z 11-07-2007, 10:25 PM is 250 does the job safer, cheaper, and more fun. rkitect93 11-07-2007, 10:25 PM go with the acura, much better look wazup1971 11-07-2007, 10:26 PM Acura, it is better, the Lexus is a Toyota on steroids. erict1689 11-07-2007, 10:26 PM This is a tough decision but I would go with the Lexus because it is more likely to last longer and perform at its best longer with the least problems. Have fun with your new car and your 306 horsepower. Hydraxiz 11-07-2007, 10:27 PM I know owners of the 2007 Lexus IS350 and 2007 Acura TL, and the consensus is that not one of the Lexus owners have ever complained about their car, whereas those who have the Acura TL have experienced at least one or two minor issues. It's not just for these particular IS350 or TL makes, but everyone I know who owns a Lexus is 100% satisfied. I'm in no way biased against any of them, since I don't have either. I currently drive a Honda, but once I can afford it, I'll choose a Lexus over Acura. I suggest you read reviews of the 2007 models, that will give you a good idea of what to expect from the 2008 models. IS350 vs Acura TL discussion: http://club.lextasy.com/ftopicp-17477.html You know what? How about taking both cars for a test drive before you make the decision! =) PS: This is off-topic but just so you know: Toyota = Lexus Nissan = Infinity Honda = Acura c420wizzle 11-07-2007, 10:28 PM As much as I love the Acura TL type S, I would have to say get the Lexus. The TL is one of my dream cars, but it is front wheel drive which gives it wicked torque steer. But since I live in Maine, I would not want a RWD car for winter. And I am a little confused becuase for 2008 the IS350 only comes in RWD. The IS250 has AWD. If it is between the IS250 AWD and the TL type S, I would choose the TL. |
