I just bought a 2001 CL Type S and it is the best. I started with wanting an Integra but then I started looking some more. It also has the tiptronic shifting - shift without a clutch and that is very fun. My boyfriend is the car expert and he's really impressed with it. And he's not easily impressed with Japanese cars. He's a Chevy man.

Well its also a honda. B18B1 (RS, LS, SE, GS), B18C1 (GS-R) B18C5 (ITR).

The 3rd generations are probably the best ones to get. 94-97 had 142hp, 170 and 195, but in 98-01, they reduced it to 140, 170 and 195 because of emission laws and balbalblabl.

If you just want it as a reg. car, automatic er so, no VTEC, i say get the RS, LS, SE or GS. But LS is preferred, even though its pretty much teh same. Besides the RS being the stripped down model, and GS adds leather and a rear spoiler to the LS.

If you want something WITH VTEC, something way faster, manual, get a GS-R.

And finally, if your lucky enough, a type-r. Almost the same as a GS-R, just more powerful, and 5 lugs.

Type-R is the fastest btw.

RS, LS, SE, GS all have a B18B1 (B18B JDM) Non-VTEC motor, 142hp @ 7000RPM.

GS-R B18C1 DOHC VTEC 170HP @ 8000RPM

Type-R B18C5 DOHC VTEC 195HP @ 8200RPM.

I suggest you get a 98-01 model tho. Those years, the integra got a facelift, which means bigger headlights, nicer front bumper, all red taillights, an air scope on the rear bumper and an A on the steering wheel, instead of saying Acura. Best Wishes. :]
