My RSX is automatic that can shift to manual..

and back logo said it is RSX type-s

I heard there is no Type-s with automatic but the trunck side logo said RSX type-s

is my car type s?

stick your head under the muffler RIGHT AFTER you shut off your car bc the serial number only shows up when the muffler is really hot... if that doesnt work put a pair of gloves on and reach in the gas tank and at the top of where your gas is there should be a little floaty thing w/ the type of car

you can buy S's anywhere....you have a base RSX.
Type S's have leather (seats, steering wheel), 6 spds, different wheels..when in doubt, take the VIN # to Acura and ask...

well its can be a type-s, the only way you can really find out is to take it to a dealer and see what they say since they can read of the part numbers and tell you if it is or not... the reason why its hard is that the type s come only in a six speed manuel but that does not mean some one changed the transmission. but i would have to say its a base rsx since it does have a automatic transmission and any one can add the type s badge
