3-2004, Acura EL 2001 price range 9-13k? i need a car preferable mid size, but with great fuel economy cause i drive about an hour and a half to and from work, i thought of the acura el 2001 with leather interior really nice ... but its a bit small then i found out that with the same price range i could get a nissan altima, a toyota camry or a mazda 3 all from 2003 or 2004 so i dunno i want it to last 5 to 8 years thats why im not sure about the acura cause its 2 years older than the other choices .... so if anybody out there with experience can help me choose i'd appreciatte it

Get the Nissan, they are extremely reliable and are somewhat sporty compared to the Camry. The Mazda 3 is too small and not very comfortable for long trips. The Acura is just not worth the money, you are paying for a Honda with standard leather interior....

Get the Camry or the Altima. You can't go wrong with either one. The Altima seems to be a little more sporty looking, which might cause your insurance to be a little higher than it would with the Camry. Camry's have higher resale values. Mazda 3 is way too small - I had one has a rental car and I absolutely hated it. The Acura is just a Honda with more features, so it's not worth the money. Good luck.

Easy...the Camry. Get a mechanic to check them all out. If any of them have been in a accident I would pass. Get a car fax report on them too.

I like the Nissan's, the Mazda 3 is a bit small. I'd look into Mazda 6's, either the 4 cylinder or 6, you could probably find one in your price range. Toyota's are a completely boring car, and Acura's are just Honda's with with a bent H in front to look like an A.

I would pay attention to the body of the vehicles for any repairs on each vehicle. Look for any color difference between panels and over-spay under the bumpers and fender liners. You should avoid any used car with the evidence of collision repair. If all other things are equal, I would definitely pick the Toyota for its reliability. Especially with 4 cylinder engine, Camry gets good gas mileage, and it needs less maintenance cost. Also, you get pretty smooth and quiet ride although it can be boring to drive at times. The rest of your choices are not the worst cars; they are relatively good cars. But when your priority is economy, get the Camry.

The Toyota Camry would be the best choice overall. The Acura TL not EL, would have the most luxury options, but they really aren't as reliable as the 2004 and up models.
So if you dont like the Camry, I would suggest the Altima.
But one that is not on your list is the Honda Accord, which is very similar to the TL, but just a little less fancy. But even the high end Accords are extremely luxurious.
