i am just wondering which one would be more reliable? and is it true that the 3.5RL is the only type that is V8?
Oh i didn't know, i just heard that the 3.5RL is the only kind that is V8, well does anybody know which type of Acura that is V8? I am not a big fan of acura so i don't know much but the one i am looking for is a big car not like a jeep but more like the 7 series BMW.

Well you heard wrong, to my knowledge, Honda doesn't even make a V8 in any of their cars. Its a 3.5L V6. Depending on the year it makes a paltry 210 HP. It is decently torquey though. The RL is better because its the higher model, but TLs are cool too. Reliability is good, but its like any other car, little things break. Especially trim pieces on the interior. But its not too hard to fix that. You want a V8? Get a G8 GT, thats a real V8 the likes of which Japan could never create.

The RL has always been a 3.5 V-6. The TL has has smaller size V-6's. If you are looking at a 7 series BMW, consider the RL. It is more reliable and gets better gas mileage. The TL would be more like a 5 series. It is a little bigger than a Honda Accord. As for reliability, the first gen RL's (96 - 04) were made in Japan while the TL was not; some believe that the RL is more reliable...
