What are possible probs & solutions? I was driving approx 70mph uphill and car stopped accelerating, battery was still on but i just coasted up the hill as far as i could until car stopped. We dicovered the timing belt was broken. What all damage can than do? Does it completely ruin the engine? Are there possibly other problems? What is the best way to fix it and approxamately how much will it cost me? (1995 Acura Integra)

Valves are NOT always bent when the belt breaks... it's just a matter of chance where the cam stopped turning. It would be worth having a professional install a new belt to see. Labor cost would be $180 (3.0 hours @ $60). Belt is under $50.
