Consumer Reports thinks it's a reliable car. Go to http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/home.cfm to find Consumer Complaints, Defect Investigations, Recalls, and Technical Service Bulletins for the Acura CL.

Fairly reliable, but not up to typical Honda (Acura) standards. I owned one of those for a while. It had wind noise and other body issues. The CL also had marginal resale and didn't sell that well.

If I had a choice, I'd look for an Accord coupe instead for that size of car.
