Sorry, it makes you look like every other person driving a common automobile. Unless you are purchasing a Ferrari, Lamborghini, Rolls Royce, Bentley, etc, you will not look rich.

P.S. Why purchase something new and eat the cost of depreciation? As soon as you drive it off the lot you can knock 10,000 or more off the value of the car. Why not consider one that is a year or two older and put the difference in a savings account for retirement?
