Hey all, I have a few other questions to test the waters of the forums with!

I currently have the stock Bose / Acura Navigation system in my 02' RL. It has the 6 disc changer in the trunk, sterring wheel controls, just the stock system...

What I wanted to know was is there a way to get an ipod adapter to work with the system? I have been browsing online and I have found various adapters that say they take up the cd changers input and would work, but I dont want to disable the changer. Trying as hard as I can, I could not get any information on how this works, or if its simple to install, or anything. I still lsiten to plenty of cds so disabling the changer is not what I want to do. I am currently using an FM transmitter and because im kind of an audiophille the quality is bugging the hell out of me. Im curios as to what others have done...

Replacing the entire system is sure to be costly. Im curious as to what others have put in their cars as a replacements... Also, where do you find out what will fit and function with the car? Crutchfield does not have much info on it. Thanks guys!

I put one of these on my Vette, and I didn't even have the changer. With the changer its very easy. I got the ipod2car. It has a little box that is hooked to the ipod connector wire (its real long, length of the car almost). It has a little harness that it comes wiht and you plug that in where your changer went, set the dip switches, and thats it. On my car, the radio (stock) controls the ipod, you can change tracks, increase volume, etcetera. It charges it too. very easy to setup and install. They have something like this at Best buy these days as the ipod2car isn't made anymore, but the new product is by the same company, called Peripheral.
