Which is the better car overall? Let's say I'm in the market for a used car at no more than $35k, which car will be better performing, more reliable, and safer for the daily driver?

I feel a little iffy buying a used mid 90s Japanese car, because even though those cars are built solid, you may never know what may go wrong next. This car just has classic styling, and the reliability of a Honda. But is it outdated?

The M3 is more modern and luxurious, but if something goes wrong, it will cost a lot to repair it. But everyone and their brother has a 3 series, and few can tell the difference between a 3 series coupe and an M3.

252hp V6 vs 334hp I6?

What's the better car?

I'm partial to Honda products - so I will tell you "Go for the Acura Nsx".........

Now on a realistic note - any used car is almost certainly a money pit - especially if its going to be a daily driver.
I would suggest that you purchase a new realiable car that you spend your money on properly maintaining it. And letting it help you out by providing reliable transportation and fun for years to come....only a suggestion......

For everyday driving, M3. For racing, M3. For style/getting girls, NSX (but the M3 isn't far behind in this category either).

If it were me, I'd be all over an M3 convertible.

Pff. NSX. 90K originally and it barely runs 13s. Pathetic.

You really wanna go fast? 02-04 Z06. It can handle better then both of them and annihilate them in every way imaginable.
