Got my wife a 2008 Acura TL last week and she wanted clear floor mats over the new ones. I got some and cut the out to fit, put the scissors in my back pocket and proceeded to wash the car....you see where I am going??

Car all clean and dried I decided last second to dust off the dash. I sat in the passenger seat, totally forgetting about the scissors in my back pocket! When I got up. RRiipppp!!
Big hole in the brand new leather! What a dimwhit it was. The hard part was telling her. She was upset but understanding. Now I have to get it fixed but don't know what to do. Can it be repaired? Probably need a new seat back, I don't know. Will call the dealer tomorrow and see.
