I am planning to buy a used car. I can't decide wether I should buy a 1993 Acura Integra GS (160K) for $2400 or a Toyota Corolla DX (only 80K) for $3400. Both cars are in good condition.
I want to be able to drive the car for another 40K or 4 years or so without doing any major repairs.
I am inclined to the Acura cause it's more in my price range, but I am worried if it will go another 40K.

Toyota Corolla has a very high rating on the J D Power surveys. Do a search for J D Power. 160K miles is a lot. You will be better or with the Corolla. No doubt.

I think both cars are fine for what you want...but I do hear good things about the Toyota Corolla DX. Either way I think you will be safe

I'd choose the Corolla if you're looking for 40K miles.

go with the corolla. it's a decent car and you will be less likely to spend the extra grand in repairs.

a toyota will fall apart cosmetically before the engine goes.
go for the toyota, better investment, better mileage, better car...........see what happens when you drop an abomb
on an equivocated country?......... they become the world leader in technology.
